In the second half of the XVIII century, Catherine II founded the Order of St. George the Victorious. A two-color ribbon was attached to this order, which was called St. George's.
Today the St. George ribbon is a symbol of victory and a sign of memory: "I remember, I am proud."
In our master class, we will tell you how to make a St. George ribbon with an apple twig from foamiran with your own hands.

- Templates
- stamens;

Step 1
We cut out patterns for future flowers from paper - three tiers of petals and sepals.
We translate the contours of the petals onto the white foamiran, the easiest way to do this is not with a pen or a toothpick.
Cut 2 pieces of large petals, 3 - medium and 3 small, because we plan to make three flowers (one 2-tier and two 3-tier).
From the foamiran of olive color, we cut three sepals and leaves (cut them in different sizes without a pattern).
Step 2. Processing elements of plastic suede
To do this, we lean the petals against the iron to warm them up, then fold them in half.
And then with an accordion and vigorously three between the thumbs and index fingers.
Again, straighten and slightly stretch the width of the middle of each petal.
Step 3
On the sepals, we pre-cut small notches with scissors. The photo shows in which direction you need to make them.
Then we apply it to the iron, fold it with an accordion and vigorously three between the thumbs and index fingers.
On leaflets, we also pre-make notches, apply to the iron.
Then we put a warm leaf in a bilateral mold and press.
In Moldova, foamiran acquires the texture of a sheet.
If you do not have mold, then after processing with an iron, on a still warm piece of paper, you can manually draw veins with a non-writing pen.
Step 4
Fold the St. George ribbon and fix it with hot glue.
Step 5
Cut the floristic wire into 5 parts of 7-9 cm.
We bend one end of the wire with pliers.
We fold a couple of stamens in half and wind it to the wire using a tape tape.
The tape tape has a weak adhesive effect and when wrapping it requires a little tension to get a high-quality result.
Thus, we get three bases for flowers and two for leaves.

Step 6
We put the first tier of petals on the wire with stamens and fix it with hot glue.
Then we do the same with the second and third tier.
Lastly, we fix the sepals. The first flower is ready!
In the same way, we produce another 3-tier and one 2-tier flowers.
Then we form two branches with leaves.
Step 7
We twist the resulting flowers and leaves into a twig, the end of which we wrap with a teyp tape.
Step 8
From the foamiran, we cut out a circle a little larger than a brooch pin. Glue the pin to the resulting circle, and fix it on top with a circle of smaller diameter.
Step 9. Build the brooch
Now let's start assembling the brooch.
We apply a twig to the ribbon and fix the places where the leaves adjoin with the glue gun, and under the lower flower we fix the branch with a separate foamiran leaf.
Glue a pin on the back of the brooch.
And here is the result of our work on the lapel of the jacket.
