You will sew this charming summer skirt for the baby in two counts from the remains of multi-colored silk or cotton fabrics.
You will need:
- Three multi-colored flaps of fabric (thin fabrics are best suited: silk, cambric, viscose);
- Elastic tape;
- Safety pin;
- Needle and thread for sewing;
- Tape measure
This project is designed for a baby 1 year old. The width of the flaps of fabric for the ruffles of the skirt will depend on the circumference of the waist, and the length on growth.
How to sew a terry towel and a bag bag for toys
Step 1
Take measurements from the baby - waist circumference and the total length of the skirt.
Step 2
Depending on the density of the fabric, multiply the OT value by 2 or 3 - this will be the length of the frill.
Divide the total length of the skirt (lower frill) in half - get the width of the middle frill. Accordingly, the upper (third) frill will be half as long as average.
You can choose the width of the frills at your discretion.
Step 3
Cut out the details of the skirt with allowances - 1 cm, for hem hem - 4 cm.
Step 4
On each frill, hem the hem.

Step 5
Fold the details of the skirt on top of each other face up.
For the reliability of the structure, you can chop off all three layers and process the upper cut on the overlock or in a zigzag line.
Step 6
Unscrew the upper section of the skirt to the wrong side. Pin with tailor pins or bast.Sew.
Step 7
Using a safety pin, thread the elastic band into the hem hole of the upper section of the skirt.
Pull the elastic band to a length equal to the circumference of the baby’s waist and fasten around the edges with tailor pins.
Step 8
Fold the skirt face inward, aligning the side sections.
Chip tailor pins or sweep.
Stitch the skirt along the side seam, grabbing the elastic band.
The little skirt for the baby is ready!
