An interesting and uncomplicated idea for decorating: a simple plaid decorated with pompons turns into an unusual, and even more warm and cozy!

In addition to the fact that the plaid decorated in this way looks original, it becomes much more warm and cozy. Imagine how nice it would be to hide your frozen legs in a pile of pompons! By the way, they can be made not only from faux fur, but also, for example, from fleece fleece.

Do-it-yourself blankets: 6 simple workshops

Step 1

Calculate how much you will need to sew pompons. If they are smaller, then you can attach them to each fringe thread, if you make larger pompons, then the threads can be combined by sewing on the pompom. It also depends on which fringe on your plaid. You can outline the dimensions of the pompom and make a paper template - this will make it easier to cut out the details. Each pompom needs 1 round piece. Cut out the details from the fur.

Step 2

Sew every detail of the pompom around the entire perimeter, as shown in the photo.

Step 3

Turn out the pompons, pull the thread a little and fill the pompons with padding polyester.

Step 4

Pull the hole with the thread.

Step 5

Sew pompons to the fringe of the plaid. Done!
