At its core, a skirt for a Christmas tree is a big circle with a hole in the middle and a cut. The easiest way is to make a skirt of fleece, felt or other materials that do not fall off - this can do without processing slices. If you choose thick cotton or another fabric, you will need to process the edges. The master class below describes the basic steps for making a skirt. You can decorate it according to your desire and the decoration of your New Year tree.

You will need:
- fleece, felt or other material / fabric;
- pencil or marker for fabric;
- centimeter;

Step 1
First you need to determine the size of the skirt. Usually it is made approximately equal to the diameter of the tree or slightly wider.
Step 2
Fold the material four times.Using a saucer or other circular pattern, draw a central hole and cut it out.
Step 3
Using a centimeter and a marker / pencil for fabric, outline the edges of the skirt, laying off the same segments and dotting.
Step 4
Cut out the detail of the skirt.
Step 5
Make a cut along one of the folds.
If you are making a skirt out of material that requires edge treatment, process all open sections.
Step 6
Now is the time to decorate the skirt. Done!
