A fur cover is a good option for winter. Moreover, it is beautiful and unusual. Turning a regular phone case into a fur case is very simple.

If you have a simple sleek phone case and a piece of faux or real fur, making a fur case is quick and easy. Voluminous fluffy fleece or material with a pile is also suitable. In all cases, the cover turns out to be soft to the touch, and it is pleasant to hold it in your hand (and in winter it is not as cold outside as a simple plastic or silicone cover). Another plus: such a soft case protects the phone well from damage, for example, when dropped.

This master class is about how to make a cover from artificial material with a not very long pile. When working with natural or faux fur with a long pile, it is better to cut the fur from the inside out with a scalpel or breadboard knife.

Cut out a rectangle from the fur a little larger than your cover in size (the size of the allowances depends on the height of the sides of the cover, on average 1.5–2 cm maximum).
Step 2
Apply glue to the cover from the outside and distribute it over the entire surface of the cover, not forgetting the sides.
Step 3
Glue the fur to the cover.
Step 4
When the glue dries, cut off the excess fur around the perimeter of the cover.
Step 5
Using small scissors or a scalpel, cut holes where they are provided in the case. Done!
