Chloe calls her style hyperrealism: the work that she embroiders is easy to mistake for detailed drawings.
About the page author
The heroine of our column is called Chloe, and she embroiders works that can be compared to paintings or illustrations. At first it was mostly embroidered food images. A graduate of London College of Fashion Chloe says that she missed British food, moving from London to Amsterdam, and thus reminded herself of her favorite dishes: "I like to draw, embroider and I love food, and I thought, why not use a needle and thread to bring it all together. " Now on the page of Chloe are also portraits she has embroidered, mostly of famous personalities, but there is still a lot of food there.

What is this page about
In fact, the page of our heroine is a gallery of her embroidered works, taken in whole or in detail. Here's what she talks about how it works: “I myself have developed a process and sequence of actions, they may vary depending on what I embroider. If this is an image of food, then I prepare a dish, lay out food for a beautiful photograph, and then I take a lot of pictures to capture everything in the right perspective and light. Another approach is to make a small sketch for future work. Then I draw a rather light sketch on the fabric. I can change it during embroidery, I like to evaluate the work in the process and adjust it. "
