Gaggenau, the world's leading manufacturer of luxury embedded appliances, a recognized leader in innovation and design, celebrates its 333th anniversary this year.

Inspired by the culinary creations of the world's leading chefs, Gaggenau creates unique household appliances that can turn home cooking into a professional-class gastronomic space. The basis of the success of Gaggenau is innovative technologies, sleek design, as well as high functionality and consistent quality of manufactured equipment. Gaggenau appliances create a special atmosphere in the home kitchen and allow you to touch the exclusive culinary culture.
The company was founded in 1683 in the town of Gaggenau in southwestern Germany by Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden. The business he organized over time developed into a manufactory for the production of agricultural machinery and metal tools. In the XIX century, the Gaggenau factories developed a recipe for the famous blue enamel, which became one of the main reasons for the success of coal and gas stoves, which were produced at Gaggenau factories until the beginning of the 20th century. The factory also launched production of advertising signs and bicycles of the Badenia model.
In 1931, the management of the company passed into the hands of Dr. Otto von Blanquet.During this period, Gaggenau focuses on the production of gas and coal stoves, and also for the first time releases their electric counterpart, thanks to which the cooking process becomes safer and more convenient.
In 1956, Otto von Blanket's son, Georg, began to take an active part in the life of the company, and a new era began for Gaggenau. A passionate fan of culinary art, he was passionate about the revolutionary idea of an individually designed kitchen equipped with high-tech, yet easy-to-use household appliances. Thanks to this innovative approach, Gaggenau revolutionized the home appliance market: the world's first built-in kitchen appliances were produced - an oven, an independent hob and an extractor fan.
The Gaggenau technique is the splendor of German engineering. It combines high technology, maximum functionality, timeless design and fashion trends at the same time, which meets the requirements of not only today, but also tomorrow. Rich experience, workmanship and the use of extremely durable materials allow us to achieve the highest quality products. At the same time, the company does not stand still and continues its development, using an evolutionary approach in the development of new devices.
Already in the fall of 2016, Gaggenau will introduce the EB 333 oven in the Russian market, an upgraded version of the iconic EB 388 appliance, which has become a classic of the brand and an icon of style in the world of household appliances. In addition to the oven, Gaggenau will present other novelties of the built-in appliances of the 400 series - with an improved design and enhanced functionality.
In the modern world, cuisine has become both an indicator of lifestyle and a way of self-expression.Following a four-century journey, Gaggenau today embodies the exclusive culture of cooking, as well as the unique opportunity to create masterpieces of culinary art at home at the highest level.
Sven Schnee, Head of Gaggenau International: “333 years of experience in the field of metal processing is an achievement that not every company can boast of. We are proud that Gaggenau is the only manufacturer of household appliances with such a long tradition and rich heritage. Our history, experience and innovative spirit are manifested in the successful implementation of an original dream that has survived time, distance and culture. Gaggenau is not just a kitchen appliance, it is the soul of the house. "
