Denim is very durable, therefore, products from it are worn longer than other children's things. This must be taken into account when sewing and provide more fabric stock on hem hem when sewing.
The child grows - you can release the fabric from the hem. On trousers it can be cuffs, which can then be converted into a regular hem. On the bottom of the sleeves and the jacket, you can make cuffs in the form of a drawstring with an elastic band, which can later be converted into a simple bending, or after bending them, you can sew knitted cuffs from the finished knitted fabric into an elastic band of suitable color to the sleeves.
Natural denim can be either thick or thin and soft, as well as with elastane.You just need to remember that when you digest (heat treat the fabric to give it softness), the jeans lose their strength.
Denim is painted only on the front side, so it easily loses color when washing. To keep it for long, jeans are needed wash only turned inside out and fastened with all buttons, fasteners. And use only mild detergents. By the way, such detergents as Tide Kids, can be used not only for washing children's things, but also for adult clothes made of denim.
