When it comes to proper nutrition, squirrels, fats and carbohydrates instantly sweep before our mental gaze.
On October 20, the whole world celebrated International Cook's Day, and on October 21, the culinary online school of the Talking About Nutrition program opened its doors to young cooks. In the first lesson, more than 1000 classes from schools in different regions of our Russia, from Arkhangelsk to Vladivostok, as well as from the Republic of Belarus, were registered.
A virtual appeal at the opening of the culinary online school was made by Grigory Gladkov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, author of many of the most famous children's songs. The guest of honor of the event was the president of the National Association of Culinary Specialists of Russia Viktor Belyaev.
The lesson itself was held in a Moscow studio, where chef Mikhail Liske and the guys from the music studio in Dubna came up with a tasty and healthy dessert made from pumpkins and apples, while children from other cities prepared with them, watching the lesson’s broadcast on the program’s website.
Culinary excellence is one of the ways of creative expression, which undoubtedly contributes to the harmonious development of the child. Now the participants of the program “Talk about proper nutrition” can not only get acquainted with the basics of proper nutrition, but also learn how to cook tasty and healthy dishes - salads, desserts, vegetable sandwiches, as well as learn the secrets of table setting and decoration. In total, five cooking classes are planned to be held during the year, each will be broadcast online. The lessons will be taught by Mikhail Liske, famous artists and scientists will be guests of the studio. During the broadcast, participants can not only cook with the chef, but also ask him questions using the "comments" function.
Two weeks before the online lesson, the website hosts a presentation and recipe with a detailed description of the cooking process. After the video, the cooking lesson is also posted on the site. If you were unable to take part in the broadcast, a cooking lesson can be held later through video recording. Everyone who takes part in at least 3 out of 5 cooking classes will receive a “Chef Diploma” at the end of the school year.
