Our model is made of faux fur, while Igor Chapurin prefers to work with natural fur. He turns fur products into works of art, adding exquisite embroidery or perforation in the form of a tattoo.

How relevant is the fur today?

Now there is a lot of discussion regarding natural fur, but it is still in fashion. There are regions where faux fur simply can not cope with the "heating" function. At the same time, manufacturers of faux fur have achieved such mastery that their product is often almost indistinguishable from natural. If you want to smooth out these differences even more, then there is nothing better than "frankness". Emphasize the game of unnaturalness with colored fittings, leather inserts and add an element of eclecticism, mixing incongruous.

It can be modernized by shortening the sleeves, adding irony to the print of the lining. This thing can be combined with high leather gloves, over the knee boots, short overalls, as well as with a large knit voluminous sweater.

What is Burda associated with for you?

This is not just a publication, it is already a legend and a cultural phenomenon. In Vitebsk, where I was studying as a designer, they brought us files for the magazine, which was very valuable - at a time when there was no Internet and social media, it was quite difficult to get ideas. And Burda always had his own view on the practical side of fashion. My mother often used Burda patterns. It was a psychotherapist magazine that helped me to believe in myself, to look at the world from a different perspective. To some extent, Burda is an injection of beauty into the everyday life of those years. And today, Burda gives women the opportunity not only to follow fashion, but to create it for themselves personally.
